Beverley Art Prize
57th Annual Art Exhibition
|
Having commenced in 1967, the Beverley Art Exhibition is one of the oldest annual exhibitions in Western Australia. Now in its 57th year, the exhibition attracts upwards of 300 paintings from some of the most talented artists Australia-wide. Offering generous prize money, the show is consistently praised for the quality of its artworks as well as the professionalism with which it is run.
Opening Night is a festive and well-attended event with drinks and tasting platters. Held at the iconic art deco Beverley Town Hall, the exhibition is open daily for the duration of Easter through to 12 April. The Art Exhibition is a prestigious and popular attraction among the many events held in Beverley over Easter weekend. The town becomes a hive of activity at this time of year, including a massive weekend-long tennis tournament and the lively Station Markets on the first Saturday, offering a wide variety of market stalls in addition to live entertainment, face painting and many delicious things to eat. In 2026 the Beverley Airshow, will also take flight on Saturday, 11 April. Entries for the 2026 Beverley Art Prize & 57th Annual Exhibition open 1 January 2026 and close on 6 March 2026 at 5pm.
