The residence
The two storey former station master's residence, attached to the gallery, is now utilized for the Artist in Residence programme.
In return for opening the gallery for approximately 16 hours from Thursday to Sunday, the fully furnished residence is rent free. Monetary rewards can be gained through workshops and exhibitions of works.
The station is in the centre of town, close to all amenities and has air conditioning/heating. Click here for further details about the programme.
We welcome writers, visual artists and performing artists. If you would like to be a part of the AiR program, download the application form and send to our AiR coordinator, Marylou Hutchinson. Please Note: we are booked through 2025, however we still welcome enquiries from interested artists who may wish to be contacted in the future.
